The construction phase of a project will take months to complete and then it's time to move in. Where do you place your furniture? What goes on the windows? Where do you hang your pictures? How do you accessorize new spaces? The next phase begins and J Craig and Associates can make that happen.
Window Coverings
One of the first things new home owners request is privacy or sun control treatments for windows. J Craig and Associates can help determine the type of treatments that best fit your windows so you don't have to live in a fish bowl until those things can be found. Wood or metal blinds, plantation shutters, honeycomb shades, and numerous other applications are available in addition to custom fabric treatments.. Custom bedding is also available.
Creating A Design Plan
A very important part of knowing how to move forward in furnishing a new residence or an updated space is to create a design plan for each major area of the home. This design plan will keep you on track as purchases are made. It will also help you to budget for future purchases and know what the direction is for every room or major space in your home. It also prevents impulse buying of items that may not work. Included in the plan beyond the selections made while in the construction phase will be fabrics, furniture, accessories, lighting, and rugs as needed. Current furnishings can be added into the plan with a refreshing new look.
Making Purchases
Interior Designer Janice Craig shops major furniture, accessory, and fabric markets as well as antique shows to gather current resources for residential clients. Additionally J Craig and Associates has numerous workrooms for custom furniture pieces. Drapery and bedding workrooms produce high quality window treatments and bedding for our clients. Custom rugs can be woven in correct sizes. If we don't have a resource needed to execute a plan we will find it. We also shop with clients as needed through any preferred retail shops. In short we have the ability to complete any design plan. We have clients who have used our services for many years in multiple homes.
