Plan Assessment

Our services begin with plan assessment. We examine your plans carefully to determine any revisions that may need to be made BEFORE building begins. Careful attention is given to electrical and lighting needs along with space planning to accommodate client furniture items.

Kitchen planning is an important part of the process at this point. Kitchen layouts are carefully examined to be sure adequate work space and a good traffic flow exists. Special needs are also taken into consideration.

Location of every switch and outlet as well as cable and computer wiring is assessed for correct placement. Any special wiring for sound systems or home theatre is assessed at this point.

Finish and Fixture Selections

Kitchen and bath plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, drawer pulls, tiles and tile design...only a few of the many decisions to be made when building a home. From floor to ceiling all finishes and fixtures are selected based on established budgets and lifestyle needs. Careful attention is given to client preferences while coordinating finishes from room to room.

Lighting fixtures are coordinated to the total look and style of the home. We think of lighting as the "jewelry" of a home. Interior and exterior lighting will reflect the ambiance created by the home.

Color Planning

One of the most powerful decorating tools is COLOR. However selecting color can be the most difficult decision to make whether trying to coordinate just a room or an entire house. Where to start? From a fabric? From a rug? From an exterior view? Color selections are done based on many different things, not the least of which is the lighting exposure for every area of a home. The color planning phase of any project carefully considers all elements that will affect the final result. Colors are coordinated from the perspective of every room to assure a continuous flow throughout the house. Whether your home is a custom home full of years of furnishings and accessories or a builder spec home that must be neutrally appointed, we are able to create a look for you that will be pleasing to all who enter the home.
